I’m 17 but a few friends are going to the casino tomorrow night and I wanted to tag along. As long as I wasn’t gambling, could I still go with?

To add to what others have said, in addition to only being allowed in the non-gaming areas of the casino, you will also be subject to curfew if you are not with a parent or legal guardian (and no, your 18 year old friends don’t count). So even if you go with them and hang out at the arcade or wherever, they can kick you out of the entire building at 10 or 11 or whatever curfew is there.
you can go, but you won’t be allowed on the actual gambling floor. you can walk along the path that is between each pit without a problem. if your friends are playing slots or just a table near the end of this carpet walkway, you can still hang with them. don’t be surprised if you’re carded and asked to leave, though.
Most regulated casino in the United States require you to be at least 21 just to enter. However, places like Travel centers, Truck stops, Arcades with slot machines only require you to be 18.
No, they’ll check your id and asl=k you to leave, however if the casino’s in a boat you can walk around but you can’t gamble.
